About Us

Lease Advantage Advisors team has decades of experience working with both Tenants and Landlords.  We have negotiated leases with thousands of small independent tenants as well as countless regional and anchor tenants.  We have negotiated leases ranging from as small as 800 square feet to as large as 111,000 feet and everywhere in between.  We have negotiated new lease and letters of intents, renewals and mid term lease workouts.  We have helped with collections issues and we have, on occasion, assisted with site selection services.  


We believe that a lease negotiation should be a partnership between Tenant and Landlord.  We do not believe in creating and adversarial relationship but a relationship that is a win/win for both parties.

Matthew B. Berger

Matthew has been in the commercial real estate industry for over three decades.  He has worked with and helped clients with their site selection process as well as their investment needs.  He has worked with both Tenants and Landlords in all matter of complex real estate negotiations.  Before joining Lease Advantage Advisors Matthew spent over 16 years with Brixmor Property Group (NYSE: BRX), most recently as EVP, President of the West Region.  Matthew has an in depth understanding of the lease negotiation process and approaches every deal as an owner so that your interests are his interests.
